Mark Zisholtz is a Vice President of Workforce Management & Compliance Solutions at ACS Group, which includes HireGenics, ComforceHealth, AIC and Analysts. He previously served as General Counsel over ACS Group. In his current position, Mark is responsible for ensuring nationwide compliance of ACS Group’s contingent workforce, and structuring contractual and business relationships between ACS Group and its clients in the compliance context. Additionally, Mark is responsible for overall workforce compliance strategy; special projects and risk mitigation on a company-wide basis; and oversight of independent contractor compliance strategies and services.
Prior to joining the ACS Group team, Mark was a practicing attorney specializing in labor and employment, contract and general corporate law, including acquisitions. He also founded, led and sold two companies, including an international legal recruiting firm.
Mark has publicly spoken on a wide range of topics in the contingent workforce space, including the Fair Labor Standards Act (misclassification issues), discrimination matters and pay issues. He has authored numerous legal briefs and written on the topic of restrictive covenants on a regular basis. Additionally, he has researched, drafted and negotiated a wide range of master service agreements, restrictive covenants, employment agreements and other types of contracts, policies and procedures for companies engaged in the contingent workforce industry.
Mark is recognized for his legal skills, building strategy and creating effective compliance solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, with honors; a Master of Science in Management; and a Juris Doctorate, with honors.
