Jay is a dynamic sourcing professional with over 20 years of experience as a procurement leader in businesses across diverse industries including consumer products, chemical distribution and utilities.
He has extensive experience in partnering with business leaders and management teams in identifying and implementing sustainable and measurable supply chain business initiatives that delivered significant process and cost improvements. These improvements span numerous categories such as Facilities Management, Contingent Labor, IT, Telecommunications, and Professional Services & Technical Consulting.
With over twenty years of experience in Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, and IT Applications, Gijo George now serves Americold Logistics LLC, as the Director of Strategic Sourcing. Based in Atlanta, GA, his team supports Americolds’ 170+ global facilities executing procurement strategies on a daily basis.
He inherited the VMS/MSP program two years ago with less than 10% adoption and now manages a stable and industry-leading multi-million dollar program; including both traditional Contingent Workforce and SOW programs. Prior to Americold, Gijo worked for Rock-Tenn, The Home Depot, The Hackett Group, GeP, and consulted for several Fortune 500 companies.

Ryan began his career on the customer support team of Pontoon Solutions where he first was exposed to the world of contingent labor. Moving quickly from his initial job role he held different positions over two years within the relationship management team with a focus on the implementation of SOW VMS solutions before he was moved to the client side to help lead the program in Cisco’s procurement team.
Reaching a steady state with the program at Cisco Ryan then found his way to MetLife and over the past year has been helping them with the rollout and direction of their non-employee management program.
Clay Lewis is the executive responsible for the Talent Acquisition vendor portfolio within Global Human Resources. Lewis is accountable for nearly 200 partner relationships and the operational management of over $1B in annual labor expense. He and team ensure the bank’s diverse lines of business are able to attract and retain high quality talent.
Lewis’ career with Bank of America began in 2002 as a project manager supporting retail management training and development. Before joining the HR Shared Services organization in 2015, he held various HR leadership roles in Learning, Leadership Development and Staffing. Lewis holds a Bachelors degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
Lewis lives in Charlotte, NC where he serves on the McColl School Alumni Association board and volunteers with organizations including The First Tee of Greater Charlotte.
Charles Marshall is one of the most popular humorous motivational speakers speaking today and has over 20 years experience speaking to audiences all over the United States. Each year, Charles travels 100,000 miles to perform in over 100 corporate and civic venues from New York to California. His animated delivery and original observations have captivated over 1,000 audiences over the past two decades, including many Fortune 500 companies.
He is the author of several books including: The Seven Powers of Success and I’m Not Crazy But I Might Be A Carrier. He also has produced and performed two full-length comedy videos, Fully Animated and I’m Just Sayin’!
Henry Murphy III is Sr. Manager, Global Sourcing & Procurement Contingent Labor & HR for Shire (formerly Baxalta). He has been active in the areas of Contingent Labor and HR procurement for over 15 years. His international experience includes developing successful global Contingent Labor and HR procurement programs for many of the top fortune 100 companies, including Allstate Insurance, United Airlines, Zurich Financial, and most recently Tyson Foods.
Mr. Murphy is also President of Relational Procurement Management Inc., which provides consulting services to organizations around the areas of effective supplier relationship management, cross-functional team dynamics and building global procurement functions.
He has been a frequent contributor to industry conferences and publications on the topic.
Marc Ruzicka, PhD currently is a Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement at Walmart in San Bruno, California. Previous work experience includes Ford Motor Company and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business.
Marc has a Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University; a Master's degree from the University of Notre Dame, and a Doctorate from Arizona State University. He has earned two professional certifications: Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) with the Institute of Supply Management (ISM) and Certification in Production and Inventory Management with the American Production and Inventory Control Society.
Volunteer experiences includes being a White Suiter for the Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, California.
Carry Swan is a VP, Business Initiatives Manager responsible for leading the Global Nonemployee Program within Global Payroll Services a part of Corporate HR. He has been with Wells Fargo for 14 year and served in a number of global HR and Finance leadership roles.
Carry’s global team (Philippines, Ireland and US) of 17 compliance, business systems consultants and operations oversee the policies, processes and systems that support the Global Nonemployee workforce of over 37,000 US and international managed (temp agencies) and non-managed resources (vendors).
Prior to joining the Global Nonemployee Program, Carry managed the Wells Fargo Transition Methodology within Enterprise Global Services, Program Governance. An enterprise solution that enables lines of business to identify and mitigate process risks as they transition work across geographies by ensuring that legal, regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
In addition, Carry led the merger integration of Wells Fargo/Wachovia Global Assignment program, including but not limited to benchmarking, review, formulation of recommendations and support for changes. Developed and set strategic direction of the global mobility program taking into account current and future needs, customer delivery and satisfaction requirements, cost, the assignee experience, and immigration matters. Carry has also worked within international HR as an Sr.HR Global Business Partner, and International Compensation and Benefits Consultant in tenure with Wachovia.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Carry worked with Deloitte as a Senior International HR Consultant for five years in the International Assignment Services group in Detroit Dallas.
Serene Vivadelli is the Manager, Vendor Management Procurement for IT at Dignity Health, the fifth largest health system in the US. In her role she is responsible for overseeing both contract labor and non-contract labor IT vendors both tactically and strategically. This includes leading the “best-in-class” Managed Service Provider (Bartech)/ Vendor Management System (Fieldglass) program which manages the identification, engagement, payment and on/off-boarding of the 400+ professional service contractors engaged by IT.
Located in Phoenix, Arizona, Serene has a BS in Advertising and Business and also has her CCWP certification.
Mike is experienced in both procurement and meetings/event management, having worked with companies such as Citibank, Ernst and Young (EY) and several non-profit associations. While at Citi, Mike worked on various procurement change management initiatives related to saves reporting, contract auditing, and contract management. Mike’s event management experience spans gala dinners, association meetings and street parades/festivals.
Mike is looking forward to leveraging his expertise to create an educational, insightful, and entertaining experience for ProcureCon Travel’s delegates, speakers, and sponsors. Outside of ProcureCon you can find Mike on the slopes in Italy, Canada, US, and Switzerland in the never-ending pursuit of fresh powder.
